People don’t understand why I do what I do. I’ve always been misunderstood. I have accepted this but maybe I’ve gone too far. I just can’t help myself. I like the soft texture, the squishing of them in my mouth. The way they pop between my teeth. And I can’t get enough.

It all started when I worked at the landfill. But that was taken away from me. So I brought my habit home. My family doesn’t understand but I think they’re coming around to seeing things my way. If only people tried it they too would grow to appreciate the feeling of squirming in their mouths. The complex flavor profile. The thrill of engaging in something so exclusive, so… taboo. It’s an experience. A way of life. Nothing hits quite like Disco Rice!

This is my second read from the author, Broth House was equally entertaining however this takes the cake with nauseating, disgusting fun.

Another delicious feast by Robert Essig

As the story progressed, it just kept getting worse & worse... I mean that in a good way!

I loved how Trey just started out as just a 'normal' guy & just with 1 wrong mishap, he spiraled down & became more sick & depraved as life went on.

John Wayne Comunale killed it as the narrator of the story! Never heard anything narrated by him before, but now I'm going to keep an eye out for other works he's done!

reminded me of fear factor

The story is short but if you like your stories meaty than you may dig this one but be warned it’s not for the faint of heart!

Gross & Delicious!

This story was captivating. It focused on a hard-working man that gained a taste that could not be topped. Regardless of his love for his life, divinity is hard to achieve.

This story was fun. the narrator delivered in a way I question that no one could do better. His narration was spot-on through the entire time of depravity.
It is not for the faint. (Yet I am sure most people who are interested in this book know so.) It is a sordid mess of despicable content. And it was a filthful delight. In fact, it kind of made me want to experience working at a dump.

The delectable flavor.

Wow. That was a ride down to sicko town. Haha Robert Essig always writes some crazy stuff. I think this one might have been the most stomach turning. John Wayne is my absolute favorite narrator of all time. The combination of Robert and John is amazing!

Whew
