"With one look, he steals my innocence and, like a spark in a field of withered grass, he sets my world ablaze."

I signed my life away to a filthy bratva boss, a beast I can never hope to tame, a man who wants to control every inch of my body and soul.

What choice did I have? I was cast out of my family and traded to a mafia boss I barely even knew. Now, he's my possessive husband.

Ugh, she really makes it hard to like her and sympathize with her. If I acted the way she did with her dad when I was younger, my parents would whoop my butt! Then she gets with the MMC and she’s an even bigger pain in the butt. Geez, every man I know would run screaming from a woman like her!

I did not like the female reader. He voice was whining and over dramatic. The sex was not very romantic. It was more raunchy. They fell in love too quick. Not enough build up.

Russian accent was hot

DNF! I was liking this one better than the first in the series, but then they went back to Antarctica after the breach at the estate and Taylor’s change in behavior, regardless of her embarrassment, there was still a level of principle she should have maintained, but in Antarctica she asked Yana for a pregnancy test and I was done. It was so awkward and beyond normal. Taylor was not some shy naive girl. She was a beast before her dad kidnapped her & sold her to Danya. She was fierce so after the melt down, it was just hard to get through. Also, I was listening to the audio version and while the female did fine narrating, the make (as in book 1) sounded more German, than Russian. He also sounded quite a bit older than his 30s and it just didn’t fit for me. I should have waited to buy books 3 & 4 bcz I won’t read them.
