This book captured my attention immediately. The author did a great job. The pace was great, and I liked the characters.

The male narrator had a strange accent. It felt like he was pushing his voice to be deeper than his normal range, and it was occasionally distracting. The female narrator was fantastic.

Overall, this was worth the time and credit. I would definitely recommend it.

Book has to may Latin works every other work was Latin and I assume a curse work. Could have been a bit less.

This book is absolutely amazing. The writer did such an amazing job that I literally could not stop listening to this. The narrators kept me hooked from day one. This is my first book by this author and it certainly won't be my last. If you haven't gotten this book, you absolutely need to. It is worth the money or the credit you spend trust me on that.

This is my first mafia romance. It had true mafia vibes with all the action, drama, and love; and of course, those spicy scenes were HOT.

I had a hard time liking the lead female or even understanding her thought process.

She tales and accepts abuse from here father and ex boyfriend going as far as to willing to sell herself to help save her crap father from his own crap debts. All of this abuse is horrible and potentially never ending or life ending.
Cut to Luca. Yes, Mafia. Yes, dark and scary but offers situations leaps and bounds better than the ones she's in and she all the sudden decides she's going to object. To what??? Better treatment? A better life? Better conditions? Proximity to a man she WANTS to have sex with??? A man that has treated her better than anyone she has known in the last 10 years???
Girl power... Women's lib... How about give the girl a brain? She's studying her college courses. Finishing her degree with an expensive book she couldn't replace in a penthouse all for a month with no sex required and she can leave at the months end....
Tell me why I'm supposed to root for her temper tantrums?
The book would have been sooooo much better if you would have given your lead a healthy dose of common sense. 🤦‍♀️
