The vampire lord of Los Angeles is dead, plunging the nightlife into chaos. His subjects fight over his title and his missing treasure hoard. The conflict pushes werewolves, sorcerers, and djinn closer than ever to open war.

Repo man Evan Murphy knows nothing of the supernatural. He only wants a roof over his head and food for his cats. When a risky job lands him in the dungeon of a Hollywood Hills necromancer, a forgotten god offers him the power to escape—making him the target of a beautiful immortal mercenary and every monster within a hundred miles. Evan’s new magic may save the city from its shadows, but only if he can save himself.

A very good continuation of the series with new blood and Lore. I'm left wondering who could bring order to the supernatural world now.

glad to see him back

I've enjoyed the Poor Man series, Good Intentions, and Hot Restart. Elliott's writing style is easy to consume, leveraging a story formula that keeps me interested and allows me to put aside the sh@tshow that reality has become. In addition, he's been getting fantastic vocal talent (Tess rocks in just about everything she does) for the audiobook versions of his work. Grand Theft Sorcery is no exception.

These new protagonists this story from the Good Intentions world build are every bit as likeable as the original crew. The ending has me hoping for continued blending in future installments!

Branching out but maybe back in again?

The MC of this branch of the series is real down to earth and had a tough start in life. Despite everything happening to would cause a darker outcome he has his own guidelines and doesn't compromise.

Great addition to the series
