Leith is wonderful. Cairstina was great. Both characters were perfect together. The mute problem was done well. Story was picked up after Tully. So well written. Could not put it down.
Michael Pierce was fabulous. Did all parts so well. Accent was spot on and so sexy and so good between characters. Loved it enough to get the next 2 books, Mac and Tate.

Who can't resist those Scottish Highlands? Leith was supposed to take over the clan now that his father stepped down and his older brother was killed. Not prepared, but ready to take on the responsibility, he is ready to do what it takes to protect those under him. So when Cairistina witnesses a murder by yours truly, he does what he needs to. He takes her captive to find out exactly what she saw. Little does he know the favor he is doing for her. Cairistina is mute, and now Leith is in for the surprise of his life. Just how much can she really say? What a fantastic story! Jane Henry delves into a relationship that isn't built on words, but on emotions gestures. These two have full conversations outside the texting, just with eye contact! It's full of exciting suspense, characters we know and love from the Dangerous Doms and a love story that has moved itself to my favorite of these mafia romances!

Michael Pierce definitely added a whole new dimension to the story with his fantastic Scottish brogue. I loved it! He brought depth and realism to the characters with each voice, easily distinguishable and made for hours of enjoyment!
