The book itself was incredible. That cliff hanger?! GIVE ME THE NEXT ONE ASAP.

But please never use any of these new narrators again. The one used for Mariah’s pov was so jarring. The voices were all so off in comparison to the original narrator. Don’t even get me started on how they voiced valec 😭 I understand wanting multiple narrators for different perspectives, but the swapping for this made it so hard to follow who was who. I almost gave up and bought a physical copy just to get through any pov other than Bree.

Incredible book, but please NEVER use these narrators again 😭

The ending was not what I was expecting. I can’t wait to read the next book. Loved the character development. I’m sure the next book will hurt our feelings.

OK, so it wasn’t until I got to the end of the book that I realized why the beginning of the book was so slow. Like I really stop listening and push myself to listen to the first half of this book because I as a reader felt like it was slow, but now I understand why. I definitely recommend reading this book but just know it has a lot of details that bring the story together towards the end and for the continuing of the series.
