Emily Rath has written an amazing book with rich, complicated characters! Another amazing story! Thank you, Emily.

The audiobook is unique. Diontae, as Teddy, and Tor, as Henrik, are not your next audiobook boyfriends. Teddy and Henrik come to life in your ears. You can hear and understand the personalities in the voices. The narrators actually embody the characters to tell this beautiful, slow-burn love story. It is a tale of unlikely and profound love between two men who are trying to care for a child. Diontae brings all of Teddy's passion and zeal for life to the character; Tor, too, captured the emotionally reserved and cautious tone of Henrik. And the accent... chef's kiss. Bravo, sir.

I have loved every book in this series but the first Picking Around was my favorite until now. This is an absolutely amazing and beautiful story. I laughed out loud too many times and cried in sadness and pure joy! Run and read it NOW!

Emily has done it again! Teddy and Henrik own my heart and soul! And the narrators bring these two characters two life with such ease and beauty. I absolutely love this piece!

The characters are loveable, realistic and she always makes me feel like they are my friends. I laughed out loud through the whole story, cried with happiness several times and sadness too. The steam doesn't show until late in the story but it's totally worth the wait and it was awesome to see demisexual represented in a book correctly and super well done. Well worth the credit!

I absolutely loved this book and now I’m sad that it’s over. I read it completely in a single day and I can’t explain how much I love it. The way Teddy was pining for Henrik for 6 years and then immediately agreed to marry him in Sweden to gain custody of Karro, the way that Henrik softens each chapter with Teddy by his side and how they both take care of each other and the love between the 3 of them. Had me tearing up in so many chapters and spots in the book. Definitely a 5 star read from me. I related to Henrik in so many ways and hearing his story brought light into my heart. Hell, I want to protect Tedrik with my life just the same as Henrik would do for Teddy.
