Amid a total System collapse, a courageous young woman must work quickly to find the cause, as this wildly inventive fantasy adventure continues.

Since she arrived in the alternate dimension of Luliv, Alice Verianna's scientific exploration of its magical properties has yielded fascinating results. She has uncovered many secrets behind the mysterious construct—known as the System—that connects all of Luliv, and her own abilities to harness this magic have flourished in unexpected ways. But the System is failing. And as Alice desperately races to get to the bottom of why, she's finding more questions than answers while its people go mad and monster attacks become more frequent and deadlier than ever.

With each passing day, crises continue to pile up. Deadly swarms, panic in the streets, and mana-born mania are just the beginning. Sinking herself into experiments in an attempt to cobble together a makeshift system of her own, Alice is determined to unravel the mysteries of the mana linking the entire dimension the only way she knows how: like a scientist.

The key to repairing the world lies in elements never before tested, scattered throughout the Shil Confederacy. Alice and her companions must travel the realm and learn all they can to complete her research before it's too late. But even if they survive the journey, there's no guarantee they'll make it in time to save her new home. Because at any moment it and all she cares about could come to a catastrophic end . . .

In all honesty I do enjoy that this book is taking a very different path then other books in this genre. While I won't spoil the story. It takes an interesting turn while also showing us more of the world and interesting characters. The narrator does another good job with the characters voices and well reading. My only gripe with this book is that the dialogue between immortal ethan and Alice. Feels a little stiff at some points. But that is a minor complaint and hardly worth bringing up. Overall a great book.

A really FASCINATING book

A fun time, just one major stat recap, fun action and quirky and smart mc trying to fix the chaos from the broken system.

Suprisingly better than I thought

Loved the Mia of science and fantasy, very unique! I also liked how the scientific method rang true as a part of the story. She would test things and get completely opposite results than she expected.

Very unique!

I so rarely enjoy lit right, let alone isekai stories, but this is a refreshing change. No overpowered MC, combat is more about a puzzle than who has the bigger stick~

The only thing I wish there was more of what the secondary perspective from the end of the 2nd book. I wonder how they feel.

Doom sipraling into success

I love this series, and the narrator is generally fantasitc.

That said, I cannot deal with the narrators attempts at reading the glitchy/broken system notices. It's creative, I'll give her that, but I don't like the sound of someone spitting (I'm assuming its meant to resemble static) in my ear every other second.

Every single time a notice came up, I found myself wanting to skip it. Then after 5 or 10 notices, I wanted to skip entire chapters. Now I simply want to drop the audiobook entirely and just read it on kindle. I can't immerse myself in the story with the narrator making those sounds and butchering words that badly.

I'm aware that's how the story was likely written, but it *does not* translate well into audiobook format.

Intolerable System Narration
