Gold Medallion and Christy Award nominee Steven James writes pulse-pounding psychological thrillers that hold listeners spellbound.

In The Knight, FBI agent Patrick Bowers matches wits with a psychopathic genius who relishes leading his pursuers on a bloody trail of torture and dismemberment. Although Bowers can predict how the next victims will die, he’s not yet sure of the who and the when. But if he can’t stop these murders soon, he fears he or a loved one may be next.

It’s hard to follow the full cast of characters
But the storyline is good, and the reader is the best

Loved this series and the interaction of the charactors. The narrator does a good job keeping the listener engaged. Too bad Bower is relationship challenged.

Seriously- this book is a thriller that is much better than most of the junk gracing the big screen these days. Any of the books in this series so far probably could be played out well on screen- but this book is so far my favorite in the series. I didn’t find myself lost or bored, and felt pulled in further by every chapter. The literary connections were intriguing, and the suspect list kept me guessing toward the end. Overall, well done, looking forward to the next in the series.

Why is this not a movie? Inquisitive
