Finally I can listen to the rest of this series! Lucius is my favorite character and this story is fantastic! I love all of the After Life stories, but a bad ass, bad boy vampire is yummy!!

Amelia is amazing and her ability to kick butt is so cool! To see the confidence in her grow is amazing. The audio isn’t as bad as I thought but it does mess up words sometimes and pauses at weird times but it’s not horrid.

the ONLY thing bad about this book is the virtual voice. i LOVE stephanie hudson and all her series... I've read this series itself about 6 times, and I'm just now putting myself thru the virtual voice narrator because I wanna complete the series via audiobook as well... it wasn't too horrible, but it was obviously a computer. I slowed it down to .9 x instead of 1.0x, made it sound just a tad bit more human with more "feeling"..... I'll finish the series... but damn I wish they had a human narrating it!

I have really enjoyed SH's series up until the virtual voice completely murdered the beloved characters' personalities. Dead pan, glitches, and the inability to tell which character is talking in a conversation. It's awful.
