The story follows Lauren, a cam girl who’s built her life on her own terms, and Nico, the mobster who never really let her go even after betraying her years ago. What starts as an unwelcome reunion slowly unravels into something darker, deeper, and unexpectedly tender. The performances by Kasi Hollowell, Jason June, and Teddy Hamilton were SO steamy, making it impossible to stop listening. This book has gotten a lot of crap for not being as funny as lights out. Honestly, I hoped there would be a little humor in it like lights out, but I knew shortly after reading Lights Out that book two was about Junior. I knew from Junior's appearances in Lights out that the humor, if any, in the next book would NOT be from Junior. If he was funny, it would be more dry humor. And this book was still funny as hell. It was a bit of a different type of funny compared to Lights Out but it was still funny. It was super spicy and I loved all the characters in it. The roommates were funny. The cameos from previous book 1 characters were SO GOOD and funny as well. I loved the play club. I loved the second chance romance. I loved the darkness and the types of spicy scenes. I loved this audiobook so much! The narrators were phenomenal. They brought this book to life! Navessa is an excellent writer for sure, but the narrators are brings the story and the characters to life! Its why I love audiobooks so much!

One of the few books that had me burst out laughing at spots. This is book had me hooked from the first chapter and wishing I could read it again for the first time. the Story was great and I do like how they both explor the others passions and interests.

First off the female lead irritated me to no end. Junior deserved so much better. She always thought the worst and never believed in him. But anyways I loved Junior 😍 and Teddy did him justice. I wish Junior had a different woman to love him but hey it is what it is.
