I was hooked me right away with its mix of medical suspense and emotional tension. Tessa’s sudden health crisis lands her in the care of Dr. Blake Morrison—her brother’s best friend—and as her condition worsens, it becomes clear something more complicated (and possibly dangerous) is going on. The mystery surrounding her illness kept me engaged, and as more of her past comes to light, the story gains even more depth. The Sinners group chat added some fun, lighter moments, and the found family element really stood out—these characters genuinely show up for each other in meaningful ways.
Brooke Bloomingdale and Aiden Snow elevated the entire experience. Brooke brought a lot of emotion and authenticity to Tessa, while Aiden delivered Blake’s intensity and protective nature perfectly. Their performances complemented each other well and made the story feel immersive.
If you enjoy romance with a strong suspense element, compelling characters, and engaging audio performances, this one is definitely worth a listen. I’m looking forward to continuing the series. 🎧📚

Now, they were brought together again by chance. Blake will do anything in his power to find out what is wrong (medically) with Tessa. Of course, this brings them closer together. I love that their relationship seems real and based on trust and support.
I love the group text chat with Blake and the other men in the Sinners and Saints group. Looking forward to their stories.

The audiobook is narrated in DUET format by Brooke Bloomingdale and Aiden Snow. SO good. Brooke is the perfect Tessa. She perfected Tessa's vulnerability with the illness but also how strong she was. Aiden has an amazing deep voice that could literally read anything to me and I would be happy.

I am so pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this story. This is a new to me author and I don’t know how I haven’t come across her yet because this story was so good everyone should be screaming about it. These characters have so much depth and the pacing of the story allowed for their backgrounds to be revealed in such an organic way. Every layer of this story was entertaining and full of angst and emotion. She also did a great job introducing the rest of the Saints and Sinners. The more I think about this one, the more I realize how great it was and I am on the hook for anything this author writes in the future, especially the rest of this series.
As far as the audio goes, it doesn’t get much better. Brooke Bloomingdale is still fairly new to me and I’m glad I’m seeing more of her. She has such a beautiful voice and it’s no hardship to listen to her for hours on end. Aiden Snow is always one of my favorites. He has the perfect tone for a broody MMC and he really owned this character.
