A mysterious object crests the Sun during a total solar eclipse.

Cryptic radio-frequency noise jams TVs and radios worldwide. Sinister alien artifacts inexplicably appear in the capitals of the world's powers. Paralyzed with fear, society begins to crumble.

Former NASA scientist Jasmine Evans is the first to spot the object and sound the alarm. Recalled to investigate the mystery, her team makes a critical discovery.

But nothing is what it appears to be.

Buckle your seat belts and get ready for the ride, as the fate of humanity will be determined over the next Eleven Days.

Realistic, interesting character development. Lots of real science background. and lots of surprises right up to the epilog.

Enjoyable read

I’ve been pretty disappointed in a lot of the sci-fi I’ve read, but this book makes me hopeful. The characters are engaging, the story intriguing. For a first contact scenario, it blends some unique sci-fi aspects together for a story that captures your attention. I will definitely be come back when the next book in the series is released! I do think it could be improved if characters had a bit more engaging conversations or if there was a bit more reflection on everything going on. Basically, I’d personally enjoy seeing a bit more depth across the board. I’d also say the narration could be a bit better. It’s not bad at all, but some of voices are hard to distinguish and accents seem off to me. Still, it’s a good book and definitely worth your time.

Solid Start To An Engaging Story!

Not worth the listen. Terrible storyline, wooden characters, useless plot. It’s like teen lit but much more boring.

Boring and predictable

There’s no real science fiction in this slow-moving, two-dimensional story. The plot has potential, but it’s hard to stay engaged when the world lacks even present-day technology—despite being set twenty years in the future. And I got very tired of the psychic sounding like Carrie Bradshaw writing a 1995 newspaper column,

Lacking a future vision
