In the eternal darkness of the moon, something is calling.

When NASA's Sentinel I satellite detects an impossible reflection and a mysterious signal from Shackleton Crater, the world is thrown into chaos. The discovery points to one chilling truth: an alien artifact lies hidden beneath the lunar surface—and it wants to be found. As China scrambles to exploit the revelation, a new moon race ignites, pushing humanity to the brink.

Thrust into the center of the storm, NASA astronaut Charlie Reid must navigate a volatile mission where science, survival, and military might collide. With the fate of humanity hanging in the balance, the question remains: what will they find—and will we survive it?

The race for the future has begun. And the prize may cost us everything.

As an audiobook, it was difficult to put down. The two story lines were both riveting. Of all the good and bad in humans, we can hope that peace and good will should prevail.

A great experience.

A lot of the book was read in what I call a loud Whisper. With some emotional wispering and out of breath wispering thrown in. I couldnt listen anymore and had to google the plot to know what happened in the end.

Lost track of the plot

My review is very simple, I enjoyed it. I look forward to listening to more by this writer and actor.

Very entertaining

I feel badly for the narrator for having been directed to read this as though trying to keep the attention of not very bright children. It failed to do justice to a brilliantly researched story. I am quite impressed and really wish these kinds of books had an option for the listener to choose between this style of narration, or having it read “straight”, simply relying upon the quality of the author’s work alone, rather than insulting the intelligence of the readers.

Extremely Well Researched

I love near future sci-fi. And this checked all the right boxes for me.
