This story started a little slow and I was unsure if I would like it. But it clicked and was worth the read. Fascinating concept and one not too far off reality. Only part that was not realistic was the stupidity with which the crew entered Serenity. People that undisciplined would never have been chosen for the mission.

the only problem I have with this story, besides the fact that it's a little slow, is that the author insists on using the phrase "umpteen times",... well, umpteen times. lol bad editing I guess. the story is fine though.

A solid story matched by a wonderful performance. I loved the use of current discovery to fashion this "what-if" fiction.

Interesting read. Great idea and loved how the story unfolded. The end felt a bit rushed after the long wait to uncover the mystery of The Object. But I really enjoyed this book.
