You are as handsome as any of them, Mr Bingley might like you the best of the party
ELIZABETH BENNET THINKS HER FATHER is worrying over nothing when he sends her from Longbourn to London to keep an eye on her mother, who has been staying with a friend. But Mrs Bennet proves to be uncommonly elusive. Everywhere Elizabeth looks, she finds Mr Fitzwilliam Darcy of Pemberley instead.

MR DARCY HAS BEEN TRYING IN VAIN to locate his friend Charles Bingley, but after repeatedly running into Miss Elizabeth Bennet, it dawns on him that their searches are related. As their pursuit intensifies, and as Darcy and Elizabeth continue to be thrown together in company, their accidental meetings begin to attract notice. Before they know it, they have become the Darlings of the Season.

LONDON SOCIETY HAS GROWN COMPLETELY ENAMOURED of its favourite new couple; alas Darcy and Elizabeth are fighting to contain the shocking truth of their presumed attachment, with each convinced that the other could never love them. They both must find a way to disentangle themselves from an imagined romance without creating a scandal of their own—or hope that love finds a way to conquer more than just the haut ton.

Enamoured is a clean, humorous Pride and Prejudice variation with low angst. The tropes include forced engagement, mistaken identity, and second chances.

Listening to this was so much fun. Arthur Rowan was the perfect narrator for this Darcy-centric story. The new twists to the story kept me spellbound. It deserves its own sequel.

Shocking and entertaining twist on the usual story

I loved it. Can’t spoil it. Get this if you love JAFF. WOW. This just what we have come to expect from this gifted author.

Really off canon but really good.

The plot was unique and kept me interested. The dialog among the characters was excellent and so well written. I do like Arthur Rowan's voice, but he could make the male voices more distinguishable. That is the only reason I gave him a 4. I love his Darcy voice, and reads with great expression. He is one of my favorites. The romance between Darcy and Elizabeth was very real and very sweet. There were conflicts between them which were realistic. True love will win out in the end. I do recommend this book!

I keep vacillating between 3 and 4 stars for this book. It is well written but I just couldn't get past the underlying conflict being adultery. I felt like it could have been written without that. Why not just let her leave instead of have sex and then leave. She was discontent. She could have just had enough.
I was absolutely disgusted by the opening of this book, as was Darcy. He unfortunately walks in on adultery as it happens which sets up the ongoing conflict for the rest of the book.
But as Darcy and Elizabeth each work to resolve elements of the conflict they are much thrown together and the results with the ton are hilarious. Over the course of the book, Darcy figured out his pride issues and Lizzy figured out her prejudice issues but she never really showed any understanding of Darcy. She misinterprets everything right up to their marriage I think. I did have hope for a HEA for them though.
I felt like we were left hanging on Darcy and Bingley's future relationship, on Jane, and on Mr. & Mrs. Bennet. I would have liked to have seen more resolve on each of them.
I listened to the audiobook and thought the narration was well done.

Potential triggers: adultery & mistresses

This is my first book from either this writer or narrator. The narrator was fantastic. The story had me from the first scene! Just whoa, highly unexpected. I enjoyed this Lady Catherine, though her part wasn't big. I'm interested in reading more by this author.

First for both writer and narrator
