Four years ago, I promised my dying wife that I’d do one thing: I’d move on.

And I knew as I took that oath, I would break it.

Then I saw Rory. The woman I’d met on one of my darkest nights, and the woman I can’t ignore. Our one night is a secret we swore we’d never tell.

When I see her, I see a glimpse of what could be in the fire in her eyes.

When she sees me, she sees the grumpy, annoying Wilder brother who could shatter her dreams and her heart.

With one stolen kiss, we both know we have a choice: to keep running or finally give in.

Only when she suddenly finds herself the guardian to her two nieces, the world crumbles around us once again. She needs to protect her family, and I know I can’t let her do it alone.

The pull between us refuses to go away, but now I’ll have to choose which promise to break. And if I’m strong enough to be the final Wilder to fall.

**Endlessly Yours is a single guardian, love after loss, one night stand romance in the Wilder Brothers series featuring Brooks and Rory. Each one can be listened to as a complete standalone. A HEA is guaranteed!**

Brooks and Rory’s tumultuous romance is a heartbreaking, yet uplifting story that explores the emotional turbulence of the many stages of grief that affect a widowed contractor and a graphic artist who suddenly becomes the guardian of her two orphaned nieces. I really liked the premise of the story, the exploration of the challenges each character faces, the steamy chemistry they share, the Wilder Retreat world building, and the interactions between the Wilder siblings, their cousins, and their better halves. Unfortunately, the execution of the story has its flaws because the author appears to follow a standard template for the second half of the story. It became obvious as I listened to the second book in the series. The story features an excessive amount of emotional angst, features couples who have great sexual chemistry but lack the ability to actually communicate with each other, their self reflection is too repetitive for my taste, and the author’s tendency to telegraph an upcoming calamity spoils the climax of the story. Of course it threatens everything the characters hold dear which leads to an epiphany upon which they finally have the courage and impetus to declare themselves. In Brooks and Kira’s case their hard won happily ever after was worth the excessive drama but the journey had its flaws. The saving grace was the enjoyable narration performance delivered by Kit Swann and Robert Hatchet that tipped the scales in a positive way.

The best book in the series!!
