Really good mafia story AND WRITING.
narrators were good. However, the women reader always sounded like she was shaky. But still good
the male narrators bratva voice was soooo good.

women character was always indecisive and scared which is understandable but sometimes got to be overkill

I like a strong Male Alpha but I didn't feel it with Merciless. Too many times he thought about things before acting, I know it was all about pulling the story along but drove me crazy. Story centered around a big secret within the family and her amnesia, not worthy of 2 books, could have been condensed into one if the fluff was left out.
Not sure I would read another by this author, perhaps will try a one book vs a Duet story.
