A+ Dark Romance

Extremely slow burn, almost too slow. Loved the story which I listened to via audiobook. Loved the female narrator, not a big fan of the male narrator’s take on Remy’s voice. Definitely will pick up the next in this series. Hopefully the narration will be better.

The story was fantastic with well developed characters. Not too much or too little intimate moments. It was just perfect. First book ever to make me tear up.

I was a little confused how awkward introvert basically took on every mobster verbally toe to toe that she ran into - also -my preference is for more dark steamy times -BUT the publisher’s summary didn’t indicate that there would be - so with that - this may be a total 5 star for some - as there were a few twists I guess
