This was chefs kiss! The only thing that pissed me off was some of the decisions Aron kept making 😑 and the over reactions the male main character kept making. Other than that this book was really really good!!!!

Wow! This audiobook is so freaking good. The narrators did an amazing job that really roped me in. I had to listen to this in one sitting. Erin meets Demyan and they have an amazing one night stand. 3 years later they run into each other again and all chaos breaks loose. The chemistry is still there and even with all the lies and betrayal these two forge a bond. So much mafia business is going on in the background and it threatens their fragile union. This book is full of non stop mafia action, emotional turmoil and lots of steam. Unfortunately it ends with a nail biting cliffhanger... I highly recommend this 5 star book.

This is my new favorite couple from Kira Cole. The plot and characters were well developed and the narrators did an amazing job bringing them to life. The story had me experiencing all kinds of emotions from excited, worried, and anxious. And I loved the ending in the second book!!!

Scarlet Secrets is filled with drama, darkness, suspense, action, and spicy hotness. Erin is a bit naive and stubborn AF, a dedicated mother and an emotional wreck, clever, strong, and genuinely good. She is definitely Demyan’s match in every way. Demyan is filled with darkness, conditioned from a young age by a ruthless father, and yet he has grown into a loyal and brilliant leader who is learning to recognize and accept powerfully positive emotions. Watching him unravel for and with Erin is dynamic and so intense. Their connection is electric from the get go. His secrets and her stubborn refusal to see with eyes wide open make for an explosive mix of trouble that builds and builds all the way to the cliff-hanger ending.

The narrators are fabulous at bringing this story to audio life. Demyan’s darkness is powerfully portrayed in equal measure with his bright and soft moments through inflection, tone, volume, and passionate delivery. Erin’s sweetness, sass, and stubbornness are brilliantly balanced as well. I loved this audiobook and cannot wait for the second half of the duet to be released in audio!!!

This is the first part in the "Yegorov Bratva" duet about Erin and Demyan. This one ends with one doozie of a cliffhanger. Erin and Demyan meet by chance when he finds her in his bath tub. This is the start of a fun and passionate night. Then he is gone. Several years later he sees her again at the wedding of his sister and her college friend. Then he finds out he has a child and goes alpha and is cruel. This is an intriguing read with dark elements, suspense, danger, murder, passion, secrets, enemies and much more. I cannot wait to read "Scarlet Sins" to see how their story develops.
