MILD SPOILERS FOLLOW: I realize that this collection is meant for younger audiences but, frankly, this is no excuse for lazy writing. And a few of the pieces were painful to listen to, especially the one with Luke, although the voice actor did an admirable job, Close second for worst writing was Vader's story, which managed to reduce the Lord of the Sith to a saber wielding scarecrow, unable to stop a band of Rebels (please refer to Rogue One for the kind of sacrifice needed to foil him, as opposed to inane single-Wookie heroics). Regardless of the uneven quality of the stories all of the cast did an outstanding job. Honourable mention must go to Sam Witwer, whose performance is once again stellar, and Maul's story was among the best. Also worth mentioning is the actor in the Yoda/Palpatine story, which was also great. Ventress' story was also very good, with voice acting to match. What I didn't expect, was how good the final story with Rey and Poe was. I only wish that Episode IX was as well written as that.

A mixed bag with some outstanding moments

All of the stories are really great except the one about Rey, they need to just retcon that entire trilogy.

Voice acting is amazing and the stories are a fresh perspective on past events
