I loved this story but there was something about the female narrator that was so unnatural and robotic (maybe AI?). It was hard to get past. This whole series is so good though.

Loved the second just as much as the first one. It would've been nice if the action scenes lasted longer. But still a joy to listen too.

Personally I like my romances darker than this, but it’s a cute enjoyable story. I actually laughed out loud two separate time while listening lol. Like I said this is hardly a dark romance. It does have an aggressively in charge alpha male and some violence, reference to crime, and a bit of dub con. Pretty mild and lighthearted though.
I thought the narration was lacking when I started it but by the end I didn’t even notice. I’m not sure I would buy it again, but it’s Worth keeping now that I have it
