Mankind hangs on by a thread in the wake of the apocalypse. Other races are soon to join the struggle for power on Earth. The Culling of Man was only the beginning....

Scattered across the globe, ten Dungeons may provide humanity with the protection and power they'll need to remain relevant through the perils to come.

Before a Dungeon can be claimed, it must be conquered.

Garath's goal is clear: Claim the nearest Dungeon for humanity. But he can't do it alone. Old friends and new acquaintances band together to form an elite team and take on The Tower of Vy'thishrak.

In the second installation of Peril's Prodigy, we take a closer look at several new Classes and abilities. Explore a plethora of new dungeons. Finally find out what's inside that damned mysterious egg. And watch Garath's group of survivors in their attempt to claim The Tower.

based on book 1 and first part on book 2, omg stop describing what the stats do all the goddamn time, the book is probably 5% just repeating the same thing when it doesnt even matter. just describe them like 2-3 times in a book and the rest of the time you can just mention the stat and not describe it in details unless hes focusing on what it does. same with all the repetetive things tbh.

stop describing what the stats do all the time

Fantastic, no complaints, if I had to nit pick something, the end was a bit abrupt. otherwise, This is a fun, and well paced book. The narrator good and clear. The story while mostly light and fun had serious moments. I definitely will be getting the next book as soon as it comes out.

excellent

i really enjoyed this one.

continuing the last book this one focuses more on the Dungeons/dungeons and the guild growth. i enjoyed the character development of a few of the characters that i liked that became a bigger part of the story.

i liked the references and " nods " to things irl that i think most people listening would enjoy.

the narration is done well. easy to tell who is who with the different voices for each character.

only disappointment is that now i have to wait for the next one

did not disappoint

Why do the authors of these books have to either save the world, universe or the species? Is there a way a hero can do less and still be a hero? Enjoyed the book but after listening to so many stories some things become repetitive but just portrayed in a different way. I was put off by the mc who took the death of his friend so casually. It takes away value of who his friend was when the mc really just plays his game. Hopefully, the author can grow the mc into a man who cares for people and realizes his reality has changed but what makes a man has not. I will buy the next book. Both books were worth a credit.

Best leader out of all the western US.
