When Amalia's cat brought home a strange flying lizard during a terrible storm, she had no idea that it was a Dragon. Or that he would save her from burning at the stake, only to imprison her in his lair when she saw his human face.

Now she is stuck in this cave with a moody, hot-tempered, and arrogant warrior—one who has killed her kind by the dozens. She expected to feel trapped, but he somehow makes her feel unbelievably... safe.

Rurik's only goal is to kill the Dark Witch, Strolguil the Vast. He never expected to find himself in a White Witch's home in need of healing, or that she would be completely oblivious about his kind, or her own. He intends to abandon her, a lowly Witch, to her fiery fate, but he can't ignore his blood-debt after she saves him. Nor can he ignore the fierce desire that she grows in him when she roams free inside his lair.

However, there are Dark Witches afoot, and Rurik isn't sure if he can shed years of hatred to trust the enchanting woman he has in his keeping.

Narrated in duet style. For mature listeners.

I am so glad that I decided to give Opal‘s new series a chance. This is a fantastic original compelling engaging story. I absolutely adore her Duskwalker Brides Series, this definitely has a different tone, one that will appeal to more readers, not just monster lovers. That said, I was riveted by the story of an innocent, naïve, kind hearted witch and an angry witch-killing dragon who live in a world where pretty much all witches are evil dragon-hunters who torture and kill dragons to increase their power.

I loved both of the main characters. It was astonishing. It’s delightful to read a female witch character who is innocent and loving and refuses to harm. The narrators performances were truly wonderful. I believe that the voice acting can really make a break an audiobook and I have put down so many books that just had awful narration. I found four of them delightful

Don’t wanna spoil it too much for you. The conflict between them is pretty epic and deep highly recommend.

PS: I just pre-ordered the next book. I absolutely can’t wait.

Opal does it again!

Loved the story! I also thought Rose put her whole effort into the project and then some. Palmini’s accent was atrocious, and tell me why the first time he ever says the MAIN CHARACTER’S NAME, he calls her “Amelia”? Clear as day. I rewinded twice and then sat there in shock. He thankfully doesn’t do it again (that I noticed), but it was so bad, ya’ll. I’m normally a huge fan of his, but he pulled me out of this wonderful story so many times.

Not Anthony’s Best Work… Unfortunately

it has been a while since I delved into romance novels and opal reyne has been a refreshing author to get into. I enjoyed her other series the Duskwalker Brides, so I picked up the Witch Bound series as well. I was not disappointed in the level of storyline and characters that keep you engaged and occasionally on the edge of your seat. The Witch Slayer is the start of another interesting series called Witch Bound. A world were dragons and witches both live in secret. the world that is written is crafted with a refreshing spin for a fantasy novel. while it can feel not very unique compared to other dragon romance I have read, I actually adore the humor and character writing in this book. it plays more into an anime sense of expression and I am also a fan of anime. this book also made me feel it has some unexpected plot twists, however predictable for some of it, I still enjoyed this adorable, hot n steamy, and action packed book. opal reyne has yet to disappoint me in her weaving of stories and it seems she has yet to do that with even the most generic inspirations as well. if you like unique tales, fantasy action, hot steamy scenes that will make you blush, and dragons with a secret soft side for strong female characters... pick up the Witch Bound series.

Hot & steamy refreshing Dragon Romance series incoming!

Opal Reyne never disappoints!! I loved this book! The story was entertaining and it kept me engaged the whole time, the MMC is my new book boyfriend, guaranteed HEA and I LOVE IT when I enjoy the side characters so much that I look forward to reading about their story in the next book of the series. The FMC is relatable, she wasn’t snotty and overly immature even in the topics that she is not too knowledgeable about, super sweet girl yet she has a spine and will not let you walk all over her. If I wrote any more , I’m going to spoil it and I refuse, just know she is super likable and they have great chemistry ❤️

And the SPICE…. It was out of this world, gonna have you squirming in your seat MULTIPLE TIMES in one scene, but it was also realistic in conjunction to the story which I absolutely love.
Opal Reyne has a way of writing spicy scenes that are so disgustingly delicious and unimaginably sexy but also keeps it realistic (going with the story and the characters) which is something that I 1000% appreciate cuz I hate when it’s a story where the MMC is a 7ft monster and the girl is a petite 5’5 and when they do the deed everything just fits perfectly. It takes away from him “monstrosity” ya know 🤷‍♀️ so I like it when the characters make it a point to discuss this topic due to their differences. It adds a cherry to the top for me in the story.

In conclusion, great book, likable characters, Opal Reyne NEVER and I mean NEVER disappoints with the spice, the narrators did a great job, and I am SOOOOOO looking forward to the rest of the books in the series ❤️

LOVED IT!!!
