From the author of The Communion duet: Ingest Me & Ingest Me, too, and The Apex Prey trilogy comes Distorted Metamorphosis.

Dr. Eleanor Rudence, addressed as just Nora by her male peers, is accepted into a penitentiary institution to begin her research on the psychology of criminals who have assaulted minors. The facility is renowned for its wonderful work in rehabilitating inmates, or so they claim, and due to her own history, Nora needs to get a deeper understanding of such individuals.

Nora is paired with Arthur, a witty and charming man, and she falls... hard, despite the reasons he is in there. She tumbles down a rabbit hole, one she won’t be able to claw her way out of...

Lesley Camphouse is a professional at perfecting such repulsive work, that keeps you on your toes regardless. A short, fun listen that keeps up with that definition.

Gross but just my type!

The story itself is written pretty good, it starts with a little introduction where you basically get a little peek at how the story will evolve (gore and horror wise). it slwoy gets more strange and gruesome and yOu get the chance to see the FMC unfold. The Reading Voice takes a little getting used too, but shes doing a great job with emotions and things. The only thing j really disliked was the German Accent, it sounded more like a French child learning to read than a German doctor

Really sick, but interesting

Psychological body horror pedofest. This is a quick and morbid listen. The narrator didn’t work for me and I was distracted by that but the story was a hard romp of weirdness. Lesley always keeps you on your toes.

This story was brutal, savage, and completely unrelenting. All of our characters are ugly, appalling, but completely magnetic. The twists had my jaw on the floor. It made me feel gross and grime, but I compulsively had to know where we would end. In only a few hours, I was shook. 7 books in, and Lesley Camphouse is an auto-read, and a total force of an author. Thank you to the author for a code to listen to this nasty little story.

Wow

Felt like the author was throwing anything at the wall she could to disturb the reader, making it clownish as opposed to upsetting. Absolutely no knowledge of her subject matter. Poorly written characters. I can’t even begin on how bad this book is. Shocked it has any good reviews at all.

Worst thing I’ve ever been exposed to
