There were several times when I thought the book was gonna be over and I noticed there was quite a bit more to go, so they solved a variety of problems along the way, which kept it interesting.
The antagonists got what was coming to them. Definitely on the reread list. My only complaint is I wish it would’ve been duet narration, but the narrators did an excellent job.

* Both narrators were able to change their voices accordingly so the person listening is able to distinguish between their characters, as well as secondary characters.
Right off the bat I must admit that I would have purchased this audiobook even if I hadn't read the blurb simply because (1) it has some of my favorite tropes ~ mafia romance, friends-to-eniemies-to-lovers, jp hero, touch her & 💀, etc (2) the story is written by one of my favorite authors (3) Lilly Drake and Sean Masters are excellent narrators and I've enjoyed every audiobook by them thus far.
I'm happy to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook the story was riveting and the narration captivating. I did however feel that Lilly Drake was slightly more subdued as the heroine, Bianca, than what I was expecting, so I did deduct ½ a star for the narration (maybe petty of me 🤔😅). I honestly couldn't find fault with Sean Masters as the hero, Sandro. He sounded just as I imagined a possessive, jealous, obsessive and ruthless boyfriend & mafia boss would sound.
Overall, this audiobook still gets 5 stars from me. 😍
