I enjoyed this quick read. it was very quick on the sex. I loved how confident the fmc was. she knew what she wanted. they both had so many insecurities, which i guess is common for teens. I do feel like the bus scene came out of nowhere. she liked him, he liked her. didnt make any moves for 18 years and then suddenly she is giving him a handy on the bus? I know this was supposed to be a short story. I wish it was a little longer because it was so good.

the narrators were excellent. in duet, I like Savannah Peachwood. she does a really good job with younger characters. Connor Crais is perfection. he can do no wrong when narrating. his growl, his intensity, his emotion, his sensitivity. oh man. this was hot.

again it was short, fast and to the point. it was sexy but also sweet. a lot of miscommunication and low self-esteem. they are 18 and in their senior year in high school after all. I also love the relationship between the female main character and her best friend who is the mmc's twin sister. no secrets between them. that was refreshing.

An immersive reading of Hefty was just what the doctor ordered.

Jill has been pining for Zach, her best friend’s brother, since forever. She dreams about what could be but she doesn’t know Zach spends his time dreaming about her. But she’s a cheerleader, he’s a football player on the heavier side. Why would she ever pick him?

They’re just friends. Until Jill decides to risk it all and they have a moment in the back of the bus that changes everything. Because Jill wants to explore, and he’s not about to waste that chance, even if he doesn’t get to keep her in the end.

Jill doesn’t care about a six- (or eight-) pack. To her, he’s the sexiest man alive. To him, she’s his every dream come true.

Listening to Savannah and Connor play these two in duet was an absolute delight!
Savannah plays the girl who finally takes a leap because she knows what—and who—she wants. Connor plays the guy who literally cannot control himself around his girl. And they both gave me a performance that tugged at my heartstrings.

It’s a JK book, so you know what’s coming. When the steamy scenes hit my ears, they were flawless! They were both inexperienced, and I loved how it wasn’t perfectly romantic but instead what they both wanted, when they both wanted it.
And Connor delivered one of my favorite lines about “the tip” that had me cackling.

The chemistry and connection they have comes from years of loving each other from afar, thinking it could never happen. They are super sweet and absolutely adorable together in a way that you know means forever even if they don’t yet.
And when they finally realized their feelings for each other… OMG. LOVE!
That ending in audio was everything.

Quick, sweet, spicy, and packed full of feeling. I loved this novella. Do yourself a favor and get the audiobook. You can thank me later!

LOVE these narrators! Their performance of this short romance was wonderful.

A short, spicy, easy listen.

If you are looking for a book with a ton of plot or depth this one might not be the one HOWEVER if your looking for a short and spicy fun time then dive in!

Jill is an 18 yr old cheerleader that has had a crush on her best friend's brother for years but thought he would never be interested in her. Zach is a big football player that thinks no girls will want him because of his size and has been yearning for Jill. These two end up next to each other on the bus after a game and things get interesting from there. No spoilers but it was definitely a good time to listen to!

Somehow Jessa Kane manages to give all the feels and plot in a short story. Her writing is addictive, I already can not wait for the next audiobook!
